Which do I choose Plasma of LCD?

Generally speaking one way of answering this question is by deciding which size you require your flat panel TV to be. It can be taken that LCD sizes often range from 19" upto 37" in general, although a Samsung TV will now go all the way upto 50".

The Plasma range is generally from 37" upwards. As a consequence they are therefore often more expensive.

A processor, just like in computer terms, is the technical brain within the television. What is Contrast?

Contrast simply means the depth of colour used, or in other words how light or dark a certain colour is. If you choose a TV Set with a broader range of contrast, then the tones will appear more natural, especially more noticeable the black and whites.

This is a display system that used to calculate the level of luminance of the whites and blacks. Although this is a measurement system, quality can often also be judged on the brand name of the TV in question, luckily Samsung is well regarded for it's superb contrast system, but other brand names that claim to have an equal contrast ration as a similar numerical rating, doesn't necessarily mean its as good a quality as a Samsung model.

The meaning of the word Samsung

The name "Samsung" has a Korean meaning of the word which means "tristar" or otherwise known as "three stars".

Although one of the most recognised brands in the world, the term Samsung when typed into a search engine via the keyword has often found itself miss-typed on many occasions.

A few examples just how Samsung if often typed into the keyboard:

Smaung
Smasung
Sasung
Smasung
Smausng
Samsnug
Samsun

These are just a few examples either by mistyping or by knocking the key next to the one required by accident. Fortunately this is no longer a problem as most engines tend to give you the correct version as it realises your original intentions of wanting Samsung Electrical Products.
